the eleventh tribute • [1/4] relationships. It’s funny, I thought, if you could hear me, I could hang on, somehow. Silly me. Silly old Doctor. When you wake up, you’ll have a mum and dad, and you won’t even remember me. Well, you’ll remember me a little. I’ll be a story in your head. But that’s OK: we’re all stories, in the end. Just make it a good one, eh? Because it was, you know, it was the best: a daft old man, who stole a magic box and ran away. Did I ever tell you I stole it? Well, I borrowed it; I was always going to take it back. Oh, that box, Amy, you’ll dream about that box. It’ll never leave you. Big and little at the same time, brand-new and ancient, and the bluest blue, ever. And the times we had, eh? Would’ve had. Never had. In your dreams, they’ll still be there. The Doctor and Amy Pond… and the days that never came.
the eleventh tribute • [3/3] speeches. It all just disappears, doesn’t it? Everything you are, gone in a moment, like breath on a mirror. Any moment now… He’s a-comin’. Who’s coming? The Doctor. You. You are the Doctor. Yep, and I always will be. But times change, and so must I. We all change. When you think about it, we’re all different people all through our lives, and that’s okay, that’s good, you gotta keep moving, so long as you remember all people that you used to be. I will not forget one line of this. Not one day. I swear. I will always remember when the Doctor was me.
the eleventh tribute • [2/3] speeches.Okay then. That’s what I’ll do. I’ll tell you a story. Can you hear them? All these people who lived in terror of you and your judgment. All these people whose ancestors devoted themselves - sacrificed themselves -, to you. Can you hear them singing? Oh, you like to think you’re a God. Well, you’re not a God, you’re just a parasite, eaten out with jealous, envy, and longing for the lives of others. You feed on them. On the memory of love, and loss, and birth, and death, and joy, and sorrow, so… so come on then, take mine. Take. My. Memories. But I hope you’ve got a big appetite. Because I have lived a long life, and I have seen a few things. I walked away from the last Great Time War. I marked the passing of the Time Lords. I saw the birth of the universe and I watched as time ran out, moment by moment, until nothing remained. No time, no space, just me! I walked in universes where the laws of physics were devised by the mind of a mad man. And I’ve watched universes freeze, and creation burn. I have seen things you wouldn’t belive and I have lost things you will never understand, and I know things. Secrets that must never be told. Knowledge that must never be spoken! Knowledge that will make parasite gods blaze! So come on then! Take it! Take it all, baby! Have it, you! Have. It. All!
the eleventh tribute • [1/3] speeches.Hello, Stonehenge! Who takes the Pandorica takes the Universe! But, bad news everyone, ‘cause guess who! Ha! Except, you lot, you’re all whizzing about, it’s really very distracting. Could you all just stay still a minute because I AM TALKING! Now, the question for the hour is, “Who’s got the Pandorica?” Answer: I do. Next question: “Who’s coming to take it from me?” Come on, look at me! No plan, no backup, no weapons worth a damn, oh, and something else I don’t have anything to lose! So, if you’re sitting up there in your silly little space ships with all your silly little guns, and you’ve got any plans on taking the Pandorica tonight, just remember who’s standing in your way! Remember every black day I ever stopped you, and then, and then!, do the smart thing… Let somebody else try first.
Like the name says, it’s a tribute for the eleventh doctor (who is, sadly, leaving at christmas). So I tought i should make something in honor of him and his flawless being. If you want to do, feel free for (and make sure to be posting on ‘the eleventh tribute’ tag so we can reblog).
- season
- outfits
- speeches
- relationships
- episodes
- reasons why you love him so much
As you can see, it’s not very big because he’s leaving soon and i really want to finish before christmas. If you’re doing and you feel like adding something, do it. And have fun appreciating one of the best doctors (and actors) of this show.
